I think what needs to be addressed is this in the past with windows if you had lets say windows Home or windows Pro you could install language packs. Now windows 7 and above you have to pay extra for a enterprise version which in the past if you had a enterprise version of windows was a copy of windows that was made exclusively for large businesses like HP, Micron and other large firms who bought a few copies with like 100 hundred computers you could use teh same pass key on. Also for the software pirates Gold cause they could make a killing building computers for people and installing the pirated enterprise windows on a computer and teh clients would not have a issue with upgrades.

What the original poster was saying is they need to revert there windows back to what they started with. As far as making language packs exclusive to only 2 windows versions only and saying that a Windows Home Premium user who happens to buy a computer or laptop in the usa or another country has no rights to getting any language pack other than what was able to be gotten from teh country they got their computer from is wrong. Is there any consideration to consider that maybe a father who is away on business who is in japan buys a laptop for his kid while overseas as a i love you and miss you gift and put some stuff like pics and videos on the laptop to personalize it for the kid as teh kid is stuck with a computer with langages they may not know? Microsoft should make all language packs ava to whatever windos 7 one uses. After all we are supposed to become globally united yes. How much is that special versions of windows to cost is it a extra 200 dollars to have teh same windows with just a few added bells and whistles that maybe ya dont even use 3/4's of. Yea haw i spent 200 bucks to get about 600 extra megs of usesless stuff so i can use language packs.
Lets be real. Hey does Windows 10 have teh same thing?
